Following are the steps to obtain a permanent residence in Canada:

1.     Take the Language ability exam.

2.      Create an Express Entry profile.

3.      Get your ECA done.

4.      Get an Invitation to Apply (ITA).

5.      Medical and criminal background checks.

6.      Application review by the Canadian government.

7.      Confirmation of PR status.

8.      Apply for PR Card.
