Check Canada CRS cut off before applying for Express Entry PR

People applying for Canada PR applications as skilled workers should apply for Canada PR from Express Entry. Canada Express Entry is a program that handles applications of Canada PR applied as skilled workers.

You need to be eligible for Express Entry pool to get an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canada PR application. Your profile will be ranked based on some of the factors. It is ranked based on the details provided to you during your profile creation.

What is CRS?

Comprehensive Ranking System is a tool that is used to rank your Canada Express Entry profile.

1.       CRS was launched in 2015 with the main aim to provide permanent residence visas to eligible candidates.

2.       You will be given a CRS score out of total 1200 points

3.       Many employees in Canada gets hired by state governments and employers through Express Entry

4.       Whether you will get your invitation to apply or not depends on your CRS score.

Canada CRS cut off today is; lowest CRS points cut-off score is 75 (CEC) and the highest CRS points cut-off score is 461 in all programs and 711 in Provincial Nominee Program. The latest Express Entry draw was held on July 8, 2021, and the next draw is scheduled for July 23, 2021. It was 196th invitation round. The total number of invitations sent was 4500 (CEC) with the lowest score of 369. 

The profile is ranked based on the following factors along with their maximum points:

1.       Age (maximum 12 points)

2.       Education (maximum 25 points)

3.       Work experience (maximum 15 points)

4.       Adaptability (maximum 10 points)

5.       Language test score (maximum 28 points)

6.       Amount of work experience (maximum 10 points)

 Canadian Government conducts Express Entry draw approximately every 15 days. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (ICCRC) invited candidates with scores of at least 368. The new draw targeted candidates who are eligible for permanent residence under the Canadian Experience Class.

The invited candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

1.       They should be able to prove to an immigration officer that they will leave Canada once their Canada visa expires

2.       You must have a valid travel document

3.       All the documents submitted should be valid

4.       You must have one year of work experience as a skilled worker in the eligible NOC, i.e. Noc 0, A, B.

5.       You should have a valid job offer letter from an eligible Canadian employer before applying for Canada PR.

Once you get invited to Express Entry draw you are eligible to submit your application along with your documents. You will have to submit the documents within a maximum of 90 days or else your application will be rejected.
